How We Started

Our Story of Taking Off

Ray and Jane has been in the call center industry for over 10 years.

 

In 2017, Ray and Jane worked with Reggie, a property wholesaler in California.  They started as cold callers generating leads for Reggie. As freelancers, they treat their client’s business as their own. Maintaining communication and account management became the culture in their personal work. They were able to build trust and relationship and Reggie allowed them to work on making offers. They started with 1 deal per week. The philosophy they followed in sales is “if I can close 1, I can close 100”. And that’s what they did, not just with Reggie but with their other clients as well.

 

With solid sales and customer service background, they combined their skills to start their own business. Just like any other company that started as a mom-and-pop business with highs and low, Ray and Jane was able to build AM Virtual Sourcing International. The low lights are the most important aspect of their personal lives and their business. Every time they failed, they learned. And from the downfalls, they learned to plan and create a business model and solutions that cater to their clients’ needs.

 

AM” in AM Virtual Sourcing International, means Apostol (Jane’s last name) and M for Manalo (Ray’s last name).

Taking the Leap

From one small office space that lead to another, Ray and Jane took another leap by taking a small company to becoming a corporation. They were able to take in investors to trust the growing capability of the company and finally, on September of 2019, it became AM Virtual Sourcing International Corporation.

Together with the plan of making it a corporation, is the vision to grow and expand to a bigger office space to provide more jobs for the local community and to keep up with the increasing demands of our clientele. The construction of the new AMVSICORP building started in the 1st quarter of 2019. It went through multiple plan changes and encountered a few mishaps during its construction. But as how Ray and Jane faced the initial trials of their start-up business, challenges were taken as opportunities to improve and to focus on the vision at hand. Even with the pandemic that immobilized the world economy, they have continuously strived to make ends meet and to keep the business afloat. With all the bumps and reroutes, the AMVSICORP building is set to partially open in the 3rd quarter of 2020.
